If your town is on this burglary hit list, it might be time to start taking the proper steps to better protect your most valuable asset: your home. There are many ways you can help prevent a break-in from occurring:
1. Get to know your neighbours, and form or join a neighbourhood watch group, so you can all look out for one another when it comes to keeping your streets safe.
2. Keep lights and a radio or TV turned on if you’re away for long periods of time, so potential thieves don’t think your home is empty.
3. Build a Ring of Security around your house with the Ring Video Doorbell, just like Paul did.
Paul installed a Video Doorbell at his home in Harrow and was alerted to these men breaking into his car. Luckily, he received a Ring notification and was able to warn them off before they could drive away, and now police are investigating the case.
