Digital Asset Manager (Freelance)
ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Ring is seeking a skilled digital asset manager, a silent hero who can help build the foundation for our new Bynder DAM,covering Central Europe and International regions. The candidate will collaborate across the Ring EU team in Amsterdam, managing the complexities of organising digital assets within various work-streams. Key teams include the central marketing team and the Channel Marketing team, where their system of record will be uploaded as centralised source of truth for digital assets. The role is a part-time role working 2-3 days a week with a possibility for working more days depending on the needs.
The asset manager will be responsible for maintaining a robust asset taxonomy, supporting individual teams in organising and categorising digital assets for both internal and external use. The selected candidate will serve as one of the key administrators contributing to the growth and protection of the overall DAM system, following a phased approach in its development as it expands over time. Strong project management, problem-solving, and strong written and verbal communication skills are essential. This is an English-speaking role where proficiency in German, French, Dutch, is welcomed. The position is located in Amsterdam, Netherlands, and we embrace a hybrid work culture, providing the chosen asset manager with the flexibility to work both remotely and at the office.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Assist with data migration from BOX manual repository to the Bynder DAM.
2. Use naming convention software to ensure consistent naming during the migration process. Replace any codenamed filenames with the corresponding product names. Additionally, embed code names as hidden attributes for internal searches andinclude product ASINs to enhance discoverability within the DAM system.
3. Ingesting assets into the DAM system, dealing with different types of file formats and understanding their compatibility, defining taxonomy to categorise assets better, ensuring version control and duplicates.
4. Build and maintain a robust digital asset taxonomy, managing metadata entry for all uploaded digital assets to improve discoverability while supporting teams across the EU and International business regions.
5. Stay actively up-to-date, manage and train users with new Bynder AI technologies and tools.
6. Provide DAM training and curated guidance to assist with internal and external team workflows.
7. Collaborate with internal digital designer to improve and customise the forward-facing portal digital UI.
8. Assign and control access for different team members both internal and external wherever needed.

Salary Indication
Part-time postion, working 2-3 days a week with a possibility of overtime, hourly wadge is set at €45 per hour.
